Jada Price Loftin Upon completion of her undergraduate degree, she went to work as Director of Client Relations for Colby Group International, a boutique firm advising upper-level executives on their career decisions. It was while working there that she decided to attend law school. Jada was admitted as part of the 2007 graduating class at Cumberland School of Law and began taking classes the summer before her first year. She attended summer sessions throughout law school. Enrolling in the summer abroad program, she once again traveled to the United Kingdom at the end of her first year. Her goal to graduate early from law school was realized in December of 2006, when she was awarded the degree of Juris Doctor. She passed the bar that following February and was admitted to the Alabama State Bar in September 2007. Jada has worked as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable William A. Shashy, Circuit Judge in Montgomery County, since August of 2007. She has left that position to accept the associate position with this firm. Jada is a member of the Alabama Bar; U.S. District Court, Northern, Middle and Southern Districts of Alabama, 2008; U.S. Court of Appeals, Eleventh Circuit, 2008; Member of the Alabama State Bar, Montgomery County Bar Association; American Bar Association; Defense Research Institute; and the Alabama Defense Lawyers Association.
